Oregon places Property and Casualty authorities on its producer license. An ordinary first-time resident seeking both authorities completes 20 hours of prelicense training for each authority, passes combined PSI Property and Casualty (Includes Law) exam 12-04, submits fingerprints and the criminal-records request, and applies electronically. The combined route is equivalent to Property, Casualty, Marine and Transportation, and Surety; standalone Property 12-12 and Casualty 12-13 remain alternatives. The published initial application fee is $75 plus processing, and the fingerprint/background charge is $61.25. Timely renewal is $45 plus processing and late renewal is $90 plus processing. Resident producers complete 24 continuing-education hours per biennium, including at least 3 ethics hours and 3 Oregon-law hours. A CPCU exemption applies only when the regulator’s stated conditions are met.
